Huge surprise for LEC at Worlds today!

What a crazy day of groups we have had today for LEC standings. CG going home back to NA with 0 wins, SKT taking 1st place in groups and advancing, however the biggest shocker so far to us in the whole group stage was that FNC kicked out one of their biggest opponents in the history of their organization RNG.

In our opinion, FNC won already in the draft due to bad champion select from RNG. Who wants to pair up a Lulu with a non-attack speed carry like Ezreal? Especially a flashless Lulu with the likes of Leona/Pyke support being available for the draft. Even lower elo players know that this is a bad combination. FNC has shown great lane presence and map control since the first couple minutes. Nemesis controlled the mid lane easily, pushed the wave and roamed leaving Uzi and Ming zero room to breathe.

In later stages FNC having 2 mountain drakes would lead to them easily securing baron buffs multiple times and simply taking out RNG step by step. It will for sure boost their confidence and LEC standings. We must say we did not expect this to happen at all since RNG was a dark horse to win the World Championship 2019.

GRIFFIN stomps G2, ruins their perfect record and takes over the 1st seed in Group A

Firstly, G2 Esports’ undefeated streak at the 2019 League of Legends World Championship has been stopped by GRIFFIN.

Even though G2 were able to stay even, GRIFFIN took over the early game in both games and dominated G2. G2’s Jungler ‘Jankos’ had trouble with keeping up with the pressure of GRIFFIN’s Jungler ‘Tarzan’. ‘Tarzan,’ who is arguably the best jungler in the tournament, was the main reason that his team was so dominant. ‘Tarzan’ had incredible plays, showed perfect rotations and his Lee Sin is one of the main reasons for GRIFFIN’s success.
Every mistake that G2 made was heavily punished by the enemy team. European team wasn’t able to take almost any objectives and GRIFFIN was just getting more gold advantage in both games. GRIFFIN’s flawless team coordination and quick rotations got them to ruin G2’s dream of getting a 6-0 in the Group A.

Analysts and viewers were surprised by the incredible performance and team play that GRIFFIN showed today.

We were expecting an easy win for G2, maybe a 1-1, but no one expected a 2-0 for GRIFFIN. In conclusion, the true potential of LCK’s 2nd seed has been shown today and now in our minds we have to reconsider our favourite team to win the World Championship. However, we are sure G2 will do their best to bounce back from today and get back to their dominating form.

How to earn money by playing League of Legends

A lot of people have goals of becoming professional League of Legends players in the online gaming world. People love the idea of streaming and making money by playing video games. They want to compete in major tournaments, play for high-dollar prizes, and score big-name contracts.

Ad Revenue
Game as popular as League of Legends, it’s not surprising there is going to be a market for content about it. One of the easiest ways to earn cash in League of Legends is to start a video channel and publish content about it. Then, after building up a following, you can leverage it for ad revenue. The best way to go about this is to start creating League-focused content on Youtube and Twitch. For Youtube, the whole idea is to start creating popular content that people will want to watch based on the game. This could include actual gameplay, or it could include game-based content like champion guides, strategy guides, patch notes, and discussion. As far as Twitch goes, you can make money on Twitch by streaming your games and getting gifts from donations and subscribers. Believe it or not, a lot of Twitch streamers actually make pretty good money streaming their games this way but it does take a lot of work to build up to.

Coaching
Yes, there are actually people who make money coaching League of Legends players. Well, once you get to a certain level, to where people are interested in paying you to show them how to get better at the game, you can start to earn money by playing with them, coaching them, training them, and generally just helping them to get better and increase their skills. It is really no different from hiring a private basketball tutor—except that LOL is an e-sport, while basketball is real-life sport. A very popular website for coaching is Gameboost.eu. You can get coached by professional players.

Playing On A Professional Team
Prize money for the League of Legends tournaments can be large, and players earn as much as $15,000 per month. Pro gamers also tend to supplement their income by streaming and through sponsorships. Of course, this is the big league, and the players who make it into teams like this are competing at a professional level. If a player wants to have any hope of making it at this level, as a professional League of Legends gamer, they will have to undergo an incredible amount of training and practice. Soon it may be included in the Olympics like an Olympic sport. It requires almost as much training and attention, if not even more!

ELO Boosting
League of Legends is a game full of terminologies. From smurfing, to ganking bot, it can sometimes be hard understanding what these certain phrases mean. If you’ve been playing League of Legends for long enough then you’ve probably come across the term “elo boosting” before. However, just what is elo boosting, and why is everyone talking about it? Elo boosting is a service in which a high elo player will increase someone else’s in game rank by “boosting”. This means the player (boostee) gives the booster access to their account in order to fulfil the service. Once the booster has reached a particular league the boost is complete, and the player gets their account back. The owner of the account can then play in their new division or decide to take it further. If you have what it takes you can make tons of money boosting accounts to higher divisions.

Selling Accounts/Account shops
Yes, League of Legends is a free-to-play game but there are people interested in buying accounts due to the value they hold in terms of time and money you have put into accounts. Such as skins, ranks, Blue Essence/XP and Riot Points. Competitive players that want to start playing ranked without grinding a whole month to 30 level will often buy accounts.

2019 League of Legends World Championship

This year the League of Legends World Championship will be held in Europe on 2nd october and the timing could not be better. G2 has won the MSI and is therefore a clear favorite for the title. So far we never had a European team to win the world cup. Together with Fnatic and Splyce they are pretty well prepared for it. In general, it is exciting this year with Korea’s SKT, North Americas. Team Liquid and the defending champions from China Invictus Gaming, the competition will be very strong and we expect tons of tight games and game 5s.

If you are interested in seeing the World Cup on site, here are the venues; Play-in Stage and Group Phase is in Berlin, Quarter and Semifinals will be held in Madrid and the Finals are in Paris. It will also be interesting to watch who will be this years top 20 players of the tournament. The GameBoost team suspects Caps, Faker and Doinb. But not only the participants of the world championships can win something, but you too. GameBoost will host a prediction game where you will be able to participate.
