WORLDS 2020 - GROUP STAGE - DAY 2 - Shyvana

WORLDS 2020 – GROUP STAGE – DAY 2

League of Legends – Worlds 2020 – Group stage – Day 2

Day 2 of the group stage was really exciting. We saw a lot of teams doing their best, everyone tried to show what are they capable of.

WORLDS 2020 - GROUP STAGE - DAY 2 - Schedule

Game 1.

Machi Esports VS Team Liquid

WORLDS 2020 - GROUP STAGE - DAY 2 - Game 1

Firstly, PCS #1 seed, Machi Esports showed incredible performance today. Secondly, they had incredible dragon control and they managed to take 2 Barons in 1 game. Their Mid, Mission, made a huge impact compared to Team Liquid’s, Jensen. In the end, Team Liquid got killed one by one, starting with Jensen getting caught in the mid lane and forcing the whole team to disengage. Even though Team Liquid tried hard, they couldn’t match Mission’s and Gemini’s performance in this game.

Game 2.

G2 Esports VS Suning

WORLDS 2020 - GROUP STAGE - DAY 2 - Game 2

One of the best games so far. Even though, LPL #3 seed, Suning were leading G2 almost whole game, G2 managed to come back. G2’s Perkz had a couple of misplays during the game, but he redeemed himself in the end. G2’s Caps showed incredible performance and he proved everyone that he’s one of the best Mid laners in the tournament. It seemed like G2 lost the game, when Suning destroyed both of their Nexus turrets, but Mikyx delayed them with his Bard. After that, Perkz and Caps respawned and they chased the whole enemy team away. Perkz teleported near enemy Nexus and he finished the game. Incredible performance by G2 Esports.

Game 3.

Rogue VS DAMWON Gaming

WORLDS 2020 - GROUP STAGE - DAY 2 - Game 3

DAMWON Gaming showed us why are they one of the favourites on this tournament. Their whole team worked as one, dominating over Rogue throughout the whole game. DWG’s peeling ability and Lulu’s abilities carried them throughout fights even though Rogue tried to engage on them. With Dragon Soul and Baron, DWG was able to easily push and win the game. In conclusion, Rogue tried their best but they couldn’t stop DWG’s advance.

Game 4.

PSG Talon VS JD Gaming

LPL #2 seed, JD Gaming showed us their huge potential. Their teamfighting and team coordination were incredible this game. JDG’s Support, LvMao had a huge impact on this game with his Pantheon. Roaming and securing kills made his team a lot stronger. PSG Talon couldn’t handle JDG’s teamfighting skills so they barely secured a few kills. Even though they lost against DWG on the first day, it seems like there’s a lot of hope for JDG.

Game 5.

Gen.G VS TSM

LSC #1 seed, TSM couldn’t stop LCK #3 seed Gen.G. Even though TSM tried to shutdown GEN Rascal by constantly harassing him in lane with ganks and pushing, it wasn’t enough. Ruler and Life dominated over Doublelift and Biofrost so they could easily carry the game in the mid to late game. TSM’s Jungler Spica didn’t show a lot of his abilities and potential in this game. Moreover, Bjergsen tried to carry his team, but it just wasn’t good enough. We hope that TSM can get back on their feet before it’s too late.

Game 6.

LGD Gaming VS Fnatic

Even though LEC #2 seed, Fnatic did their best, they couldn’t stop menace that is LGD Gaming. LGD’s jungler, Peanut, outperformed Selfmade in more than one way. Controlling objectives and ganking throughout whole game helped LGD to win this game. He wasn’t the only one tho, Xiye and Kramer outshined their laning opponents with dominating performance. Even though LGD finished as LPL #4 seed, they showed a dominating performance against Fnatic.

That was all for Worlds 2020 – Group stage – Day 2.

WORLDS 2020 – GROUP STAGE – DAY 1

League of Legends – Worlds 2020 – Group stage – Day 1

Group stage has begun. Day 1 was really exciting, we could see a lot of teams performing really well. Because of that we can hope for really interesting group stage.

WORLDS 2020 - GROUP STAGE - DAY 1 - Standings

Game 1.

FlyQuest VS Top Esports

WORLDS 2020 - GROUP STAGE - DAY 1 - Game 1

Firstly, LPL #1 seed showed us today what are they capable of. Secondly, all of their players showed immense skill levels and team coordination. Because of that they are already favourites in this tournament. FLY’s Jungle and Top lane couldn’t catch a break throughout the whole game because of 369’s and Karsa’s incredible pressure. In conclusion, they dominated their first match against LCS #2 seed.

Game 2.

Unicorns of Love VS DRX

WORLDS 2020 - GROUP STAGE - DAY 1 - Game 2

LCK #2 seed dominated throughout whole game. Keria, their support was incredible playmaket this game. Using Pantheon, he was able to bully Unicorn’s bot lane. Also, he was initiating a lot of teamfights and securing kills for his team. Their jungler, Pyoski was unbelievable on his Nidalee. Controlling whole game with his ganks and easily controlling and countering UOL’s jungler. DRX looked really strong today and we’re hoping that we’ll see more of that.

Game 3.

Rogue VS PSG Talon

WORLDS 2020 - GROUP STAGE - DAY 1 - Game 3

Quite a performance from LEC #3 seed, Rogue. They went 16 : 0 against PSG Talon. Whole Rogue was performing really well as a team. Because of that their coordination and teamfighting were on point. Their Top laner, Finn, was destroying enemy team during whole game with his Malphite, using his ultimates to disable most of the PSG Talon. In conclusion, Rogue was a welcomed surprise that left everyone surprised.

Game 4.

DAMWON Gaming VS JD Gaming

LCK #1 seed, DAMWON GAMING, showed a huge potential and proved that they are one of the best teams in this tournament. DG as a whole, is like an unstoppable force. All of their players showed peak in game performance. Moreover, Nuguri and Showmaker had immense presence with their teleports and TF’s ultimate. Because of all of this, they are one of favourites on this tournament.

Game 5.

Gen.G VS LGD Gaming

This was a really close game. Both teams showed a lot of skill and game knowledge. There was a lot of great teamfights and skirmishes. Last teamfight was really intense and it was not expected that Gen.G would win thanks to Ruler and Bdd pushing mid and destroying Nexus. Even though LGD Gaming lost, they showed a lot of potential and we bet we’ll see more of them later in this group stage.

Game 6.

TSM VS Fnatic

Old EU VS NA rivalry was rekindled with this game. Even though TSM was playing really well, Fnatic outperformed them in every way. Baron fight was cleanly executed by Fnatic when TSM tried to stop them. Lastly, after they took the Baron, double teleport from Nemesis and Bwipo won them the game because of the perfect flank that they made. Both teams showed a lot of skill and potential and let’s just hope they’ll show us more.

That was all for Worlds 2020 – Group stage – Day 1.

10.20 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN

Analysis of the most impactful changes for the League of Legends 10.20 patch update.

10.20 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Notes

Aatrox ( Buffed )

10.20 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Aatrox

> This is a great buff for Aatrox. Increased self-healing % will make him far more durable in the mid to late game. Because of this, his teamfighting capabilities will be far superior than before. This enables him to play far more aggressive because he can deal and take a lot of damage with this better version of his ultimate.

Braum ( Buffed )

10.20 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Braum

> A small boost for Braum’s kit. His Q will be used far more in lane and in the teamfights to set up some kills. It will also make him more aggressive, allowing him to take priority in the bot lane.

Illaoi ( Buffed )

10.20 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Illaoi

> Illaoi’s strength lies in her tentacles, because of that this buff will help her a lot. This will help her mid to late game a lot, her skills rely on tentacles so if there’s more tentacles there’s more damage and healing. This also means that her teamfighting ability is far more dangerous than before.

Karthus ( Nerfed )

10.20 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Karthus

> This is nothing serious, good Karthus will kite the jungle camps without taking any damage. It will only make his ganks against AD champions a little bit riskier than before.

Kassadin ( Nerfed )

10.20 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Kassadin

> Small nerf that only makes him weaker against AP mages in the early laning phase. If you time your Q correctly, this small nerf won’t be even noticed.

Katarina ( Nerfed )

10.20 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Kata

> Reducing her AD damage ration on the dagger retrieval will make her early laning phase and roaming weaker than before. Even though this is a nerf, Katarina will still be a capable assassin that can devastate teams with her combos.

Kled ( Nerfed )

10.20 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Kled

> Not a major nerf, it will only reduce his sustain in laning phase against AP champions.

Lulu ( Nerfed )

10.20 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - LULU

> She will still be one of the best enablers for the hyper carries in this game. It’s 10% reduction at maximum level but Lulu will still be able to make her carries unstoppable.

Maokai ( Nerfed )

> Maokai’s Q is not the reason that you pick him, even though he loses some laning pressure with reduced damage. He will still be a strong tank/support that can peel for his carries.

Nunu ( Nerfed )

> Reducing his base armor won’t hurt him that much because of his sustain in jungle. In lane, reducing his armor will make him squisher and it will be easier to poke him out of the lane.

Ryze ( Buffed )

> Nice small boost to Ryze’s overall damage and combos. Ryze uses his Q a lot in teamfights and laning so this buff makes helps him a lot throughout whole game.

Sion ( Buffed )

> Jungle Sion buff, it will help him clear jungle camps a lot faster than before.

Urgot ( Buffed )

> Jungle Urgot buff, but that won’t turn him into a viable jungler.

Varus ( Buffed )

> A nice boost to Varus’s damage and crowd control. His E will deal far more damage with stacked passive W and enabling him to use his R more often will make him far more effective as a carry.

In conclusion, these were all the important changes for the League of Legends 10.20 patch update.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.19 PATCH - Featured

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.19 PATCH

We will present you the best pick or ban champions for every role in 10.19 patch.

Top Lane

Darius

Darius’s passive stacking bleed gives him enourmous strength in long trades. Secondly, after applying maximum bleed stacks or killing someone with his R, he gains a lot of bonus AD and he’s able to maximise his bleed on everyone. His Q gives him a lot of healing power and damage, especially in close quarters when you can hit multiple opponents. Even though he doesn’t have a real gap closer, his E + W combo makes his enemies super slow while he tries to build up his passive. His R is a great finisher that can obliterate whole enemy team if they’re not careful enough. Using flash and ghost, Darius can easily maneuver through any teamfight and catch up to any escaping opponents.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.19 PATCH - Darius
Camille

With Grasp of the Undying, her passive shield and her W’s healing, she can sustain through almost any match up. Because of her sustain she can easily harass enemy top laner until it is time to go all in. Camille’s Q is her main source of damage, especially the empowered version that shreds through any tank. Her W is also a great poking tool that can win her any trade or prepare an all in. E is her bread and butter, huge gap closer and escape tool that gives her attack speed and stuns enemies. With her R, you can lock down enemy carries, which is really important in mid to late game and if used correctly it can win you the game.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.19 PATCH - Camille
Jungle

Hecarim

Firstly, thanks to buffed Ghost, Hecarim can easily destroy enemy team during teamfights even if his E is on cooldown. Secondly, Phase Rush gives him incredible mobility while also giving him extra damage because of his passive. His Q makes his jungle clear super fast because of low cooldown and AOE damage. Also, it’s a great teamfighting ability that easily procs Sheen or Trinity Force. Using his W, Hecarim becomes a durable tank during tight teamfights because of huge healing power. E is his great ganking tool and engage ability if you can go behind enemy team and push them towards your team. Hecarim’s ultimate is a great AOE fear that can easily disrupt enemy positioning in teamfights while also being a great chasing tool.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.19 PATCH - Hecarim
Evelynn

Thanks to her permanent stealth after level 6, she’s able to apply pressure globally for the entire game. Evelynn’s Q is a great AOE damage ability that helps her clear jungle camps really fast. Secondly, it’s a great damage dealing ability for solo kills or teamfights. W can slow her opponents if it’s triggered instantly, but if it’s fully charged, it charms and shreds MR which gives her a lot of kill potential. Her E is her main burst ability, if it’s combined with her W, it can easily one-shot squishy carries. Evelynn’s R is a great finisher that can destroy low HP enemies. Also, it can be used as a gap closer or escape tool.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.19 PATCH - Eve
Mid Lane

Zed

Using electrocute is a way to go for Zed when the meta changed to more squishier champs in almost all roles. His passive is a great finishing move for your burst while also making farming extremely easy even if it’s under a tower. Zed’s Q is a great poking tool and combined with his W it creates a great pushing ability. E is his only CC ability that can help him either set up the combo or escape sticky situations. His ultimate is  primary tool for killing opponents. However, he can use it as a dodge ability to avoid CC or huge threats because he becomes untargetable. It can also be a great chasing ability if the enemy team has a lot of mobile champions.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.19 PATCH - Zed
Kassadin

Even though he has really weak early game and he can be easily countered, if Kassadin is able to farm for free or if he gets some kills, it’s basicly game over for the enemy team. He’s one of the strongest carries in the game if he’s able to scale. His passive and Q are great sustain tools against mage matchups. W is a great farming tool that can also help him with maintaining mana. Kassadin’s E helps him a lot in wave clear department, while slow makes him able to stick with any target that he’s chasing. His ultimate is his greatest strength that gives him incredible mobility and damage. In teamfights he can easily outmaneuver any team and he can easily flank enemy carries to win the game.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.19 PATCH - Kassadin
Bot Lane

Ashe

She’s still one of the best bot laner in the game even though she got nerfed a couple of times. Because of her passive she can slow whole enemy team during teamfights. which makes escaping her almost impossible and kiting enemy engagers really easy. Her Q gives her a lot of carry potential in teamfights, shredding through tankiest teams with ease. W is a great poking tool in lane that she can easily spam and keep the lane in her favour. It’s also a great slowing tool that can be applied to whole enemy team during teamfights. Ashe’s E gives her a lot of vision during entire game, preventing ganks, objectives and checking enemy jungle. Her ultimate is a great engage tool that can easily find picks and win games.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.19 PATCH - Ashe
Jhin

Jhin’s passive lets him easily maneuver through teamfights and kite high damage threats. His fourth shot is a great finisher that can easily execute enemy squishies. It’s important that his Q is used to last hit in lane while also trying to let it bounce on the enemy champions for huge damage. W is a decent ability to start engages or to delay enemy movements. Jhin’s E is a good tool for detecting ganks or zoning objectives. His ultimate is a great ability for either initiating teamfighs or finishing running opponents.  Positioning should be the top priority for Jhin, so he can easily land those fourth shots and execute enemy carries.

Support

Pantheon

Pantheon has a CC ability and a potential burst damage which makes him one of the snowbally champions in lane. He’s extremely strong when paired with another lane bully that can follow his W engages. Pantheon’s Q is a great poking tool that can also slow and prepare his engages. His E is a great tanking ability that helps him dive enemy laners under tower. It also makes him really tanky during teamfights and he can survive a lot of high damage threats because of it. R is a great ganking/roaming tool that can help your entire team by ganking other lanes or helping with objectives. He’s a great support that can easily tank and deal a lot of damage.

Lux

Lux’s Q gives both disengage and catch potential, giving her ability to easily escape or peel for her carries. Her W makes trading in lane almost always in her favor, but it really becomes strong later in the game when she buys shielding items that will buff her carries. E is a great poking ability in laning phase and in the mid to late game it’s a great slowing/zoning ability that can help your team in teamfights. Her R provide a huge amount of burst damage and combined with her other abilities she can easily kill enemy carries if they get caught in her CC. Lux has a lot of damage and shielding potential in teamfights.

10.19 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN

Analysis of the most impactful changes for the League of Legends 10.19 patch update. Also, this will be Worlds 2020 patch.

Ahri ( Buffed )

10.19 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Ahri

> A small boost to her W that will make her wave clear and mobiliy far more efficient than before, but that does not solve her current issues and the reason why is she not picked more often.

Akali ( Nerfed )

10.19 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Akali

> This does not hurt Akali a lot, she will still be picked in certain situations and as a response to certain picks. This will only make her early game a bit weaker than before.

Aphelios ( Buffed )

10.19 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Aphelios

> A small buff to his damage, nothing major.

Azir ( Nerfed )

10.19 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Azir

> Nothing major, it will make Azir’s laning phase a little bit harder than before but he will still be picked. This change mostly focuses his performance in the Pro league.

Caitlyn ( Nerfed )

10.19 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Cait

> This nerf won’t change anything about Caitlyn’s performance, because she will still be a dominating lane bully as before.

Irelia ( Buffed )

> Great buff for Irelia that will make her engages far more deadlier than before, especially in the later stages of the game. Even though this is a great buff it does not help Irelia enough to be a meta pick again.

Ivern ( Buffed )

10.19 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Ivern

> A huge buff for Ivern that should make him really strong, 50-70% slow is a huge deal that will disable a lot of engages and make his chases really effective.

Lucian ( Nerfed )

10.19 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Lucian

> Small nerf that won’t make any difference regarding his current position in the meta. Lucian will still be a dominant laner.

Senna ( Nerfed )

> This will hurt Senna’s scaling a lot. Because of this she won’t be that strong in the mid to late game as before. Even though this seems as a huge nerf, she will still be picked.

Sivir ( Buffed )

> A small boost to her MS that won’t make any difference to her current position in the meta.

Sylas ( Buffed )

> This buff will make his mid and late game far more effective than before. If enemy team has a lot of strong ultimates, this could be a game changing buff.

Twisted Fate ( Nerfed )

> Small nerf that won’t cause any change to his playstyle and strengths. He will still be a strong roamer as before.

Udyr ( Buffed )

> Nice buff for AP Udyr but he has a lot of issues that are not fixed. Udyr is really weak compared to other junglers and he needs a lot of more buffs than this to be relevant in the current meta.

Vayne ( Buffed )

> A nice buff for Vayne, this will make her teamfighting far more deadlier than it already is.

In conclusion, these were all the important changes for the League of Legends 10.19 patch update.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.18 PATCH

We will present you the best pick or ban champions for every role in 10.18 patch.

Top Lane

Jax

His early game is really strong, especially against melee champions. E + Q combo can mitigate a lot of damage from minions if you start playing aggressive, while also dealing a lot of damage early on. His passive is also a great tool for stacking damage on 1 level so you can easily get a kill if you rely on it. If you try to play more carefully, you can wait for his powerspike on level 6, where his ultimate gives him a lot of damage with every 3rd strike and a lot of tankiness. After you scale to mid and late game, Jax’s carry potential becomes insane with his huge damage potential and sustainability. If you position yourself correctly in the teamfights you can easily destroy enemy team’s carries.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.18 PATCH - JAX

Urgot

He’s one of the underrated champions lately, but he still performs really well in both high and low elo. Because of his simple kit, you can easily pick him and learn how to play him in a few games. After completing Black Cleaver and Death’s Dance, Urgot starts to inflict huge amounts of damage and basically he can’t be killed. Teamfighting is simple with him, with your Q and E you can close the gap with enemy team. His W is a great source of damage combined with the Conqueror while his ultimate is a great finisher that can AOE fear the entire enemy team if you position yourself or flash into enemy team with it.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.18 PATCH - Urgot

Jungle

Graves

Graves has a really fast jungle clear speed, because of his auto attacks and Q. He’s also a really good pick against heavy AD team compositions because of his passive that gives him armor. With Graves you need to powerfarm most of the time until his jungle item power spike. After that you can win almost any fight because you will be tanky and deal a ton of damage. With your E you can engage and disengage easily while ganking or in the teamfights. His R is a great AOE finisher but also a tool that can be used to escape dangerous situation. He can be unstoppable if the early game goes well and he gets a few kills with ganking or counter jungling.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.18 PATCH - Graves

Kayn

He’s really strong right now, fast jungle clear speed with his superior ganking potential. He is really flexible, he can go Red Kayn and be super tanky and be a nuisance in the teamfights. Secondly, he can go Blue Kayn and carry games by deleting enemy carries. Kayn can snowball pretty easily if he gets a few kills in the early game, you just need to be careful what kind of champion are you killing and what form do you want. Getting his form early will make your games extremely easy when you start to pick up some kills. Kayn will be unkillable bruiser that deals a ton of damage or an undetectable assassin that can destroy enemy carries.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.18 PATCH - Kayn

Mid Lane

Ahri

The newest buffs helped Ahri a lot. W’s bonus movement speed makes her far more dangerous than before. She can easily maneuver during laning phase and in the teamfights because of her W and R. Also, her W helps her wave clear far easier than before because it deals extra damage to low health minions. Her early game is pretty weak until level 6 when she gets a power spike with her ultimate. Ahri can easily survive early game even against harder matchups because of her passive’s healing. She really gets strong in the mid to late game, where one good R + E can win you a teamfight or even a game. Ahri’s mobility and burst damage with her combo can easily save you in the hopeless situations.

Zed

He’s extremely strong in the current meta. He’s a great pick against teams that don’t have heavy CC that can stop him from doing his combos. Secondly, he’s a great split pusher that can easily contest enemy Inhibitors or Nexus because he can easily 1v1 or 1v2 most of the team compositions. Or he can just simply run away with W or with Youmuu’s Ghostblade and reapply pressure again and just completely disorganise  whole enemy team all by himself. Zed is really strong in the laning phase when he hits level 3 with his W+E+Q combo he can easily kill someone if all of the skills land on their target. Finally, he’s a great teamfighter that can easily flank enemy carries, ulting on them, killing them and then returning to the teamfight again.

Bot Lane

Caitlyn

Her oppressive laning with her long attack range makes her a really hard matchup for most bot lanes. When you get a few kills on her in the early game, she becomes unstoppable with her superior range and damage. While in the laning phase, you need to deny the enemy carry their farm so you can easily shut them down for the rest of the game. Because of her harassing playstyle, Caitlyn can easily control objectives and have easier vision control in the bottom lane. You just need to be careful with the vision while pushing the enemy bot lane, so you don’t get ganked. Finally, she’s really strong in contesting objectives by providing long range and high damage poke.

Ashe

Ashe has been really strong during this whole season. Her passive slow gives her a lot of advantages during fights, allowing her to chase or kite any opponent. Her Q and Lethal Tempo combo has a huge damage output. It can easily shred any enemy champion when it gets going. Ashe’s W makes her one of the most oppressive lane bullies in the game because it provides both wave clear and poke. E is a great scouting tool to check where the enemy jungler is or to check if someone is coming to gank you. Above all, her ultimate is a great engaging tool that can make picks and win you the game.

Support

Lux

She’s a strong counter to most meta supports and has a great synergy with current meta ADCS. Lux’s Q is a great catching tool that can easily secure kills. Secondly, it’s one of the better peeling skills in the game that can save any carry from danger. W’s AOE shield combined with Ardent gives your team a huge buff that can give you huge advantage over enemy team. Her E can be used to scout areas for enemy presence, after that it can be used as a peeling or harassing tool. Ultimate is a great finisher in the early game. Her combo with Q + E + R can easily give you advantage in the lane. In conclusion, she’s a great support with strong crowd control, shields and damage.

Blitzcrank

Blitzcrank can easily win games all by himself, hooking enemy carries in the late game. In the laning phase, you need to be careful how are you using your hook, one wrong move and you can easily lose your lane. Also you need to be careful that you won’t hook someone with heavy CC or a bruiser that can jump on your carries. He’s also a great roamer that can help other lanes or your jungler if your ADC can push the wave. With your W movement speed buff and E you can easily secure kills anywhere. Your ultimate is a great CC that can stop a lot of combos and engages, while also enabling your team.

10.18 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN

Analysis of the most impactful changes for the League of Legends 10.18 patch update.

10.18 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Highlights

Ahri ( Buffed )

10.18 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Ahri

> A nice small boost to Ahri’s sustain in lane because of the passive change that will grant her more healing than before. Change on her W will make her wave clearing easier and faster. Burst of 40% movement speed will make her engages, positioning and escaping better. Even though it’s a nice change, Ahri still has a lot of problems with itemization and midlaners that are currently in the meta.

Ashe ( Nerfed )

10.18 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Ashe

> A small nerf to Ashe’s attack damage, because of that nothing will change in the current meta.

Galio ( Nerfed )

10.18 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Galio

> Nothing too major, this will make Galio’s laning phase a little bit weaker than before.

Jarvan IV ( Buffed )

10.18 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Jarvan

> Boosting Jarvan’s Q damage a little bit won’t make him more picked in the current meta. Because he still has far more issues compared to other junglers.

Kayle ( Buffed )

10.18 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Kayle

> This is a great buff for Kayle, even though Q doesn’t restore mana anymore and W costs more. Change on her E will make her far stronger than before with no mana cost and faster misile speed. Her laning phase will be easier and in the late game she will be far more dangerous from now on.

Kog’Maw ( Nerfed )

10.18 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN - Kog

> Nothing too major, it will make him more squishier in the laning phase and it will be easier to poke him down. Smaller base health growth means that he will have less health in the late game.

Miss Fortune ( Buffed )

> Nice small boost to her attack and movement speed. It will make her early game far move aggressive than before.

Rumble ( Buffed )

> Nice buff to Rumble’s Q. Increasing damage will make his laning pressure far greater while also making him a better pusher. Secondly his Q damage will be enormous in the late game combined with Liandry’s.

Sett ( Nerfed )

> Another nerf for Sett, this will force players to go full damage builds if they want to deal some serious damage. Removing passive’s total attack damage and % damage of target’s maximum health on his Q will make him far weaker against bruisers and tanks. He won’t be dealing any damage if you go full tank as in previous patches.

Shen ( Nerfed )

> Small nerf for strong Shen, even though it will make his trades a little bit weaker, he will still be a meta pick.

Twitch ( Buffed )

> A nice buff to Twitch, even though AP part of his E is not really useful for Twitch, only if he starts building items like Guinsoo’s. Secondly, bolt damage reduction per enemy hit is a great buff to his carrying potential in the teamfights.

Xin Zhao ( Buffed )

> Small buff for Xin Zhao, but sadly it’s not something major that will change his position in the meta.

In conclusion, these were all the important changes for the League of Legends 10.18 patch update.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.17 PATCH

We will present you the best pick or ban champions for every role in 10.17 patch.

Top Lane

Garen

He’s really dominating in the laning phase. Against melee champs, he wins pretty much every trade with his E. With his Q he can harass enemy farm while also disabling their abilites. He’s also durable against ranged champions with his passive regeneration and Doran’s Shield. Garen’s sustain and Q’s movement speed buff allows him to be really aggressive against ranged champions. His W’s passive makes him really tanky if he farms enough, making glass cannon builds viable on Garen. W’s active makes him a really strong tank because it reduces crowd controla and damage, if timed correctly you can survive the whole enemy team with 0 issues. Moreover, his ultimate is a great finisher for enemy carries and tanks.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.17 PATCH - Garen

Camille

Firstly, Camille’s laning is pretty powerful with her passive shields, Q’s empowered auto attacks and Grasp of the Undying combos. Her W makes her really durable in lane and far more riskier for enemy champion to engage her. Camille’s E is a great engage and escape tool. Stun and increased attack speed makes her really strong in longer trades and it’s a great skill to pick up running enemy champions. Be careful how you use it tho, because it’s your only escape skill. Her ultimate is great for going all in and isolating the target, for laning and for teamfights. She can easily isolate enemy carries and win you a game with her mobility and damage.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.17 PATCH - Camille

Jungle

Hecarim

Hecarim is really powerful right now. His jungle clear is really fast because of his W+Q combo. Q’s damage is huge with the Trinity Force procs, moreover his W with Conqueror and Death’s Dance makes him almost invincible during teamfights. Hecarim just heals so much that the enemy team needs to prepare Ignite or healing reduction to take him on. E is a great ganking tool, with huge movement speed boost, he can just rush to the lane out of nowhere and wreak havoc on the enemy team. Secondly, it’s a great escape tool because few champions can catch up to you if they don’t use crowd control on you. Hecarim’s ultimate is insane teamfighting skill if you use it correctly because it can fear enemy champions and win you the game.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.17 PATCH - Hecarim

Vi

Vi’s passive helps her a lot in jungle clear and teamfights, it makes her really durable during any situation. Secondly, her Q is great gap closer and it deals huge amounts of damage to squishier champions.
Thirdly, her W is a tank shredder with armor reduction and maximum health damage. Her E has 2 functions, it’s a AOE skill for the jungle clear and a auto-attack reset that helps your damage output a lot.
Ultimate is a great chasing and knock-up skill that will help you immobilize enemy carries. In conclusion, it’s a guranteed kill if you use your ultimate and your team knows what do. VI’s kit makes her a great duelist and a great fighter that can disrupt enemy composition.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.17 PATCH - Vi

Mid Lane

Fizz

Fizz’s Q can be used both as a disengage and engage tool, depending on your positioning. Secondly, his W is a great damage buff to his auto-attacks that can reset itself, it’s a great skill for trading and farming in lane. Thirdly, E is his bread and butter, dodging and escaping everything is one of the most powerful abilities in the game. Similarly, it is also a great gap-closer to hunt down enemy carries. Also, his E makes him a great teamfighter because most assassins can’t get away easily as Fizz can. You can easily engage enemies with his ultimate if you manage to hit it. It deals a lot of damage if you hit it from the maximum range and you can easily do your combo while your enemies are in it.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.17 PATCH - Fizz

Annie

In early game, her passive stun can be used for small trades and setting up jungle ganks. With her Q’s mana and cooldown refund, she can easily last hit and have a perfect CS every game. After that, it’s easy to stun someone with it because it’s a point and click ability. Annie’s W is a great tool to help her farm easily even more with her Q and it can be also used as an AOE stun if your ultimate is on cooldown. Her E helps her survive hard teamfights but also grants her useful movement speed buff for easier engages and disengages. Annie’s ultimate is a game winning skill. When you can flash and stun the whole enemy team, but also deal huge amount of damage, it’s just a straight up victory screen at that point.

PICK OR BAN CHAMPIONS FOR 10.17 PATCH - Annie

Bot Lane

Kai’Sa

Because of her passive, she can choose what kind of damage she will bring to the table. Which means she’s a great pick in almost any team composition. She’s an ADC that can actually build Zhonya’s or Banshee’s if she needs to and she will not lose any damage output because of it. The 5 hit part of her passive gives her a lot of burst magic damage to finish off enemy champions. It’s a great passive that can shred even tankier targets. Her Q helps her push and farm, while empowered version has a great burst potential if used correctly. W is used to easily proc her passive, check nearby bushes or even snipe low health enemies.
E helps her to escape or position herself better in teamfights while also giving her increased attack speed so her passive is even more deadlier. Her ultimate is a great tool and can be used in different ways. Dodging skills, kiting, chasing or just repositioning. She’s a great carry if you can position yourself in the teamfights.

Ashe

Ashe has been really strong during this whole season. Her passive slow gives her a lot of advantages during fights, allowing her to chase any opponent or to kite anyone that is chasing her. Her Q and Lethal Tempo combo has a huge damage output, it can easily shred any enemy champion when it gets going.

Support

Lulu

Lulu’s Q is a nice laning tool that can help you poke and peel your carries. Her E and ultimate will keep your team alive during teamfights. But what makes Lulu awesome is her passive’s on hit damage buff and W’s attack speed buff that makes your carries far more deadlier than before. Her W can also be used to deny enemy engages or to shut down enemy carries. Her ultimate is mostly used to save your carries from certain death but it can be used as a great crowd control with some kind of engage champion to make the enemy team unable to react. It can be also used to cancel enemy dashes and secure kills. Lulu is a great enchanter that can save and buff your carries to victory.

10.17 PATCH NOTES BREAKDOWN

Analysis of the most impactful changes for the League of Legends 10.17 patch update.

Aatrox ( Buffed )

10.17 PATCH NOTES - Aatrox

> A small buff to Aatrox that won’t propel him to meta again. Increased bonus damage gives him also better healing so he will be more tanky than before.

Caitlyn ( Nerfed )

10.17 PATCH NOTES - Caitlyn

> She had a lot of indirect buffs to her with other ADC champions getting nerfed. Because of that she was the strongest ADC for some time but now she’s geting some minor nerfs so that other champions can be played.

Evelynn ( Nerfed )

10.17 PATCH NOTES - Eve

> Evelynn got a lot of buffs during last few patches that made her a top tier Jungler. A small nerf to her Q won’t change the reason why is she picked.

Gragas ( Buffed )

10.17 PATCH NOTES - Gragas

> A very small buff for Gragas, 3 armor points won’t make that much of a change to push him back into the meta. Therefore he will stay a decent jungler, especially in Pro play.

Hecarim ( Nerfed )

10.17 PATCH NOTES - Hecarim

> Considering he was buffed last patch and was doing great ever since, this is just a minor nerf that won’t influence his performance in game.

Kai’Sa ( Buffed )

10.17 PATCH NOTES - Kai'Sa

> This seems like a big buff for Kai’Sa but it’s not. Kai’Sa needs a really good setup to get going and in current meta she is just not good enough. It’s a buff but it won’t change her place in the meta.

Lux ( Nerfed )

10.17 PATCH NOTES - Lux

> A small nerf to Lux supports that max W. This change won’t affect damage-oriented builds.

Qiyana ( Nerfed )

10.17 PATCH NOTES - Qiyana

> This nerf happened because Qiyana was dominating Diamond 2+ games with 56% WR. She’s a roam-oriented champ that doesn’t need to farm like her Mid lane opponents and her items are a lot cheaper compared to other roles. She’s a very difficult champion to balance for both Solo Queue and Pro play.

Sona ( Nerfed )

> Sona has been dominating bot lane for quite some time now. Because of that she’s getting some nerfs that shouldn’t really influence her standing in the meta that much. She’ll be weaker, correct, but her primary power is still there. In conclusion, she will still remain a strong pick in the Bot lane.

Varus ( Buffed )

> Varus is in a really bad spot right now, let’s hope that this small buff will help him get out of the swamp and back into the meta. But he needs a lot more help to become a meta pick again.

Xayah ( Buffed )

> This is not super big, she’s a conditional hyper carry where she requires opponents to go after her. She needs a lot of time and gold to be strong. You’re mostly picking Xayah as a response to enemy team composition.
In conclusion, this won’t help her to be a standalone ADC.

Yone ( Nerfed )

> This is a pretty big deal for Yone. He’s losing a lot of damage in the early game and sustainability for late game.

In conclusion, these were all the important changes for the League of Legends 10.17 patch update.

What is Tilt and how to recover from it.

Tilt – one of our greatest enemies that we encounter while playing League of Legends. Some games just don’t go the right way and we get overwhelmed by different emotions. Because of that we start to perform worse and worse until we just quit the game. We’ll analyze how to detect the signs of being tilted and how to counter it. It’s easy to be tilted and not recognize it, but it’s far harder to find a way to de-tilt.

Some of the signs that you are tilted:

1. Thinking about the last game. ( Dwelling in the past )

Once a game of League of Legends ends, there’s really no benefit to dwelling on it. By the time you have queued up for your next game, you should have put that last game out of your mind.
Yes, there are always things that you can learn from a given game and you should definitely try to pick out aspects to improve on from previous games. But if you’re thinking about about what went wrong versus
what the lesson is to use in your next game, that is a sign of tilt.

Tilt - Ekko

2. Focusing only on LP

Any time you start counting your LP, you’ve already lost before the loading screen finishes. You should always focus more on how you played than the result and you should definitely care more about whether you’re improving than whether you’re gaining LP. When you get to the point that you’re focused on how much LP you’ve gained, lost, or need to get to your next promos, you’ve completely forgotten about the process and are focused entirely on the result.

Tilt - Renekton

3. Blaming your teammates and/or luck

Whether you win or lose a given game or set of games is most definitely impacted by both luck and whether you get good teammates/opponents. However, whether you play well in those games and whether you will improve and climb in the long run is not. Good players understand that with enough time and games their skill will improve and their rank will improve with it. They’ll acknowledge unlucky games or gaming sessions, but they acknowledge that these are the exception. Similarly, it’s fine to acknowledge when you get a game that is unwinnable because of circumstances outside of your control.

Tilt - Teemo

4. Typing a lot

It’s easier to just /mute all if you’re having issues with your team. There’s nothing wrong with typing though, directing your team to do an objective while you split or something. However, if you’re typing more than two or three messages in a game, it’s probably not stuff that is purely game-focused. You’re clearly tileted because if you type too much.

Tilt - Heimer

5. Doubting your own skill.

Another type of tilt that most players don’t acknowledge or recognize is internal tilt. That’s when your anger isn’t directed outward at things like teammates or luck, but inwards at yourself.
Whenever you go into a game, you should feel confident and optimistic about your chances. Do not queue up if you don’t have a plan, if you feel bored or frustrated at how badly you’ve been playing, or are resolving to just playing passive. Play to win, don’t play to not lose.

6. Don’t get cocky!

If you’re playing well, that’s great, and you should continue to keep it that way. But you should also try to keep yourself from getting too confident because you don’t want to start deviating from the kind of play that’s been succeeding all day. If you start trying out different builds or champs that you never played, it’s time to calm down and rethink the current situation.

How to Untilt?

1. Take a break from ranked or League of Legends all together.
2. Focus on small wins in your game like taking your tower, getting the next dragon, stealing enemy buffs.
3. While you’re in the death timer, close your eyes, concentrate only on your breathing.
4. Type some funny/positive comments in your team’s chat
5. Focus on the good things that you did in this game. Leave the negatives and things to improve on for when the game ends.
6. Put on a funny video or song on your second monitor if you have one.
7. Remind yourself that one loss isn’t going to keep you from your ranked goal or from improving and that there’s plenty of time left in the season.
8. Recognize your team’s good plays and compliment them for them.

We hope this was helpful and that from now on you will handle the Tilt far easier than before.
